Everything we have ever seen, thought, heard, touched, felt, smelt and
experienced is stored in our subconscious. It's our hard-drive. It knows and
runs all our programmes. Those that are running in the background that we are
not consciously aware of, that are having a profound effect on who we are.
Hypnotherapy
simply takes you on your own personal journey into a deep
state of relaxation to
access and work with your subconscious - the background programmes. Through
positive suggestion and positive affirmation hypnotherapy simply 'reprogrammes' your subconscious mind by accentuating the positive - all
that you deserve to be and can achieve and eliminating the negative; in order for you to make those positive changes you are now ready to make, so that you can obtain that happier, easier, more successful
and fulfilled life and future.
The hypnotic state is a completely natural state and can be achieved by anyone.
When you start your hypnotherapy session your brainwave frequency is at Beta,
the relaxing induction slowly brings you into a state between Beta and Alpha,
then brings you into a pleasant state of Alpha / Theta brainwave frequency.

Theta - Daydreaming / Trance but awake
Delta - Sleep
Whilst
in a state of hypnosis you do not relinquish control, you do not go 'unconscious' or into an oblivious state where anything could be said
or done unbeknown to you.
The subconscious mind is very protective and will not allow anything to intrude upon your values or your moral code. The only changes that will happen are changes that you want to and are ready to change. You remain completely in control and aware
of what is happening at all times. You are simply in an 'altered'
state of consciousness
ie: so very deeply relaxed. And in that
relaxed state the subconscious mind unfurls, and that is where you get
to acknowledge and deal with that which has been holding you back. As
a
hypnotherapist I am simply a guide who facilitates the journey, or
process. You are the one taking the journey and making the
changes.
Your
session/s will be recorded onto CD for you to take with you and replay
in
your own time, in order for you to reinforce and fully achieve
the objective of the therapy.
Some
people whom I have assisted through hypnotherapy have told me during
feedback after the first session that they have never felt so relaxed
before.
That's a bonus in itself !
